
(Chicago) A contingent of influential ministers from Chicago area churches collectively endorsed Jonathan
The United Steelworkers of America today announced their endorsement of Jonathan Jackson in the 1st Congressional District in Illinois. They cited his longtime commitment to supporting issues important to working men and women. The Steelworkers represent over 75,000 union members across Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin in manufacturing, healthcare, refineries, retail, security and the building trades.
“The United Steelworkers which represent over 75,000 workers across Illinois, Indiana and Wisconsin are proud to endorse Jonathan Jackson for Congress in Illinois 1st District Congressional District. Jonathan has earned our support because of his long history of supporting our core issues: Collective Bargaining, Safety and Health, Job Security/Trade, Domestic Economic Issues, Civil Rights, Healthcare & Retirement Security. Jonathan will work to bring home infrastructure dollars from Washington. Jonathan is on the side of all working men and women including Steelworkers.
